WrestleMania 34 is nearly upon us, which means that it's time to get our hopes up for the biggest show of the WWE calendar only to have them dashed on the night when Shinsuke Nakamura versus AJ Styles gets eight minutes.
The hostilities picked up right where they left off on RAW the following night.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Braun Strowman was pulled from his match with WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz due to internal concern over the Lesnar vs. Reigns main event at WrestleMania 34.
WWE has yet to issue an official confirmation regarding Lesnar's future in the coming Wrestlemania 34. Reigns talked about how he was born into the business and said Lesnar is just in WWE for the money, while he and everyone else on the roster love what they do and put their bodies on the line for the fans at WWE events all over the world night after night.
It felt real and was arguably the best promo of Reigns' career. Is this plan from WWE going to stop the WWE booing Rousey?
However, according to Den of Geek, Lesnar's meeting with White and his absence from RAW is probably a negotiating ploy in order to beef up his next contract with WWE. This suspension, if he accepts, would lead him to not enter the UFC fight scene until August of this year. While The Rock was the top pick for Rousey's partner, it now appears that the company is going with Kurt Angle instead. Putting Triple H through a table at "Elimination Chamber" didn't hurt either.
