To start off with, the Deviljho is making a return to Monster Hunter by being added in the update. Among them will be the introduction of paid appearance change tickets, with 1 free ticket given to all players.
Capcom has announced a whole raft of new Monster Hunter: World stuff is on the horizon, starting with the much-anticipated arrival of "the world-eater" Deviljho on 22nd March, alongside the game's first free major title update, 18.104.22.168.
Once again, the first major Monster Hunter World update begins on March 22, so get ready! We have yet to receive more info if it has anything more to offer.
Another of the new features of this update is the launch of the Spring Blossom Fest, an event that will run from April 5 through April 18 PT or April 5 through April 20 GMT, bringing fun activities, special decorations to the Celestial Pursuit and plenty of special-themed food.
The Spring Blossom Fest seasonal event will then commence on 5th April at 5pm PT (6th April, 12am GMT), with fun activities through which you'll be able to unlock materials to craft the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, victor of the community Weapon Design Contest (pictured below).
In addition to Deviljho the March 22 update will also be balancing every weapon type, aside from both light and heavy bowguns, in various ways to accommodate players.
Update: Capcom has gone over all the new updates in a blog post. This one-time use item will allow players to completed edit any part of their hunter they like aside from their already selected name.
If you choose to make further edits after you've consumed the free Character Edit voucher, we'll be offering more vouchers for purchase at a later date.
A quality of life improvement will be added, as well, with the option to return to the gathering hall after a quest has been completed.
