The Singapore PlayStation Store may have inadvertently leaked the release date for Capcom's anticipated Mega Man 11. Capcom will also be releasing Mega Man X Legacy Collection on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC on July 24th. The Double Gear system in Mega Man 11 adds a unique new twist on the satisfying platforming action, offering options to enhance Mega Man's speed and power on the fly.
Speed Gear: Introduces the ability to slow down time when fighting enemies or platforming.
Defeated Robot Masters will drop special weapons that Mega Man can acquire and equip, and that will change his appearance when in use.
The trailer also reveals two new bosses for the game with Block Man and the electrical Fuse Man. Jump, slide, shoot, and more through challenging stages and Robot Masters. Double Gears need time to recharge after use, especially if Mega Man gets desperate and utilizes them both at once.
Mega Man 11 is coming October 2! He's a Wily one (pun intended), zipping around the screen with electrical bolts and trying to destroy Mega Man with each new attack. If used too much, the Double Gear system will overheat, forcing it offline until it can cool down.
The amiibo figure is based on the Mega Man pose from the above illustration. The series' producer, Keiji Inafune left the company, and even offered to help with Mega Man Legends 3 - but they refused. It's available to pre-order on Amazon now with a 20% Prime discount.
