Florence is projected to weaken to a Tropical Storm by early Saturday before weakening to a Tropical Depression by Sunday near northern GA.

"Currently Helene is 2000km southwest of the Azores and remains a category 1 hurricane, with sustained winds of 130kph and gusts in excess of 170 kph".
Sustained winds on Tuesday afternoon approached 105 miles per hour, making it a very strong Category 2 storm, though it was expected to gradually weaken over cooler waters.
Tropical Storm Watches were also discontinued for St. Maarten, St. Martin, Saba and Eustatius.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center. He said parts of North Carolina had seen storm surges - the bulge of seawater pushed ashore by the hurricane - as high as 10 feet.
"As it tracks towards the United Kingdom it will degrade - it will become an ex-tropical storm". A High Surf Advisory has been posted for the south coast, the Islands and the NH Seacoast associated with Hurricane Florence just off the coast of the Carolinas.

Georgia, Virginia and North and SC have declared states of emergency.
However, according to the latest projections, the storm might shift slightly to the south and affect Georgia with heavy rain and possible flooding.
"Florence is forecast to be an extremely unsafe major hurricane as it approaches the US coast", the NHC said.
While a third added: 'Looks like a hard pounding... they are really going more than a few inches.
The storm is now around 530 miles southeast of Cape Fear, North Carolina, and is moving west-northwest at 17 mph.
"Interests elsewhere in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic states should monitor the progress of Florence", said the NHC.
"WE ARE COMING TO GET YOU", the city tweeted around 2 a.m.
Latest weather prediction models suggest Britain could be ravaged by a series of deep low pressure systems next week following Helene.
On the forecast track, Isaac will move near or over the central Lesser Antilles on Thursday.
